How To Sell A Domain Name

How To Sell A Domain Name
How To Sell A Domain Name?

There should be several ways for you to sell a domain name which usually you are the owner. As example, if your web site receives less than 100 000 visits per month, then just sell it at a domain auction site - or ebay.com - but don’t actually expect to sell it unless you have a great domain and a lot of competition.

If the domain has more than 100 000 visits, then the best way is to contact your competition and offer it to them. In many cases, the cost of a domain name is cheaper than paying for the internet advertising needed to bring in those 100 000 hits.

That is how you price your domain name in order to sell it. If it costs us $300 a month to get 100 000 visits, then that is the general rule for pricing the domain $300.

This may not sound fair, but most of the people will click away when they see that there is a new web site, and after a month or two, the new website will rarely have the 100 000 visits a month that the original site had.

Just make sure you are not commit cybersquatting. This means that you buy a domain name that you think someone wants, and then try and sell it with insanely higher price than normal. That’s the unethical way to do it.
